Our very own Alex Crane (A - Soph - Bainbridge Island, WA) received this week's 15-Minutes-of-Fame MCLA D1 National Player of the Week from Inside Lacrosse Magazine. Alex was also Second Team All-American last season. The article from David Franklin, MCLA Beat Writer for Inside Lacrosse, cites:

This sophomore stud has converted from midfield to attack and had 17 points last weekend as the Huskies got their first wins of the season over Portland State (20-0) and Idaho (17-12). “Coming out off a successful freshman season, with 41 goals, 19 assists as well as PNCLL Freshman of the Year accolades, we were very excited to see Alex mature into his role this season,” says UW Coach Jack Cerchiara. “He is a tenacious dodger and comes through GLE as good as anyone I’ve seen. I’ve been most impressed with his field vision and lacrosse IQ as well as his individual finishing ability. Working with the rest of his line, they can pack a lethal punch.
